PIMPLES OUT: The Ultimate Guide

Goodmorning folks!
During these days of “pre-Spring” we are all preparing for a new semester. As long as we’re attending classes some of you keep emailing me at askgiusru@hotmail.it questioning how to resolve the “Pimple issue”.

Well, pimples are very hateful, especially if your crush is attending your same classes. So today I’m going to give you some tips to clear your face from the inside.

  1. Get more sleep:

As easy as it seems, sleeping is the most powerful way to get rid of anxiety, which is the leading cause of pimples and many others disease. “Stress increases glucocorticoid production, which can lead to abnormalities in skin structure and function,” says Sonia Badreshia. So, remember to sleep at least 8 hours a day as I recommended you here.

  1. “Sugar? No, thanks”:

“No, thanks” must be the phrase you’ll say to all those food with high proportion of added sugar. Sugar will boost your insulin which is one of the main causes of pimples. Too much insulin in your bloodstream can trigger in fact changes in your body that can lead to the growth of pore-clogging cells. It can also boost action in your oil glands. Those oil glands which affect your face skin. So, take care of your insulin!

  1. Get Exercise:

Keep running or just walking for 30 minutes a day, it will help get all the toxins out and it will increase your blood circulation, which sends more oxygen to your skin cells and carries cell waste away.

  1. “More Water, thanks”:

Don’t forget that your is 60 percent water, so you need to drink enough water to optimize physical processes. Drinking water is also key to consuming the correct amount of daily calories – often we mistake hunger for thirst, so when in doubt drink water first. Water is the foundation of healthy and clear skin, so aim for 8 glasses of water every day.

  1. Keep Lovin’ it:

Did you know that you can eat Dark Chocolate as long as you want to?  This type of chocolate has a very low proportion of sugar and It also contains zinc, another acne-fighting nutrient. So keep enjoying your life eating more dark chocolate than ever (I’m just kidding: moderation is the right way for everything).
