There are a million reasons and benefits to do a detox bath.It can helps to relieve headaches and reduce stress. A detox bath is also useful to improve sleep before the night. Other benefit that it can bring are: helps heal skin rashes, helps treat colds, improves muscle function and relieves sore muscles.

Overall the main porpouse to do a detox bath is to eliminate toxins.

Toxic chemicals are found everywhere in our environment and, unfortunately, begin to accumulate in our cells and fat tissue before we set foot into the world.

Researchers at the Environmental Working Group (EWG) have discovered we’re being bombarded with toxins before we even leave the womb:

“In a study spearheaded by the Environmental Working Group (EWG) … researchers at two major laboratories found an average of 200 industrial chemicals and pollutants in umbilical cord blood from 10 babies. The umbilical cord blood of these 10 children … harbored pesticides, consumer product ingredients, and wastes from burning coal, gasoline, and garbage.”

The question is: How to take a detox bath?

Let’s start:

First of all fill your tub with hot water, using a chlorine filter if is possible.
The second step is to add ingredients. You have a wide choice of ingredients to use. It depend on your preferences.
You can use: epsom salt, essentials oils, milk, honey, ginger, fresh fruit, baking soda, green tea, coconut oil, rose petals.
You can create a relaxing atmosphere by using scented candles, or incense.
Then, lay in the water for 20-40 minutes, soaking your body from the neck down.
When finished, stand up very slowly, and rinse off in cold water alternating hot water. You’ll feel lightheaded and drained.
